Can you travel between terminals at ATL?
Atlanta Airport Terminals – At either end of the airport, you’ll find the domestic terminal and the international terminal; between those are concourses T, A, B, C, D, E, and F. The Plane Train connects all the terminals and concourses so travelers can easily transfer between sections.
Throughout the airport, there are hundreds of shops, restaurants, and services, with everything from local eateries to duty-free stores. The domestic terminal has a number of places to grab food and shop, including national chains like Starbucks, TGI Fridays, Popeyes, and more, plus newsstands, a USO lounge, an interfaith chapel, and a pet relief area.
Concourse T has three airline lounges (for American, Delta, and United), several dining locations including Bojangles, Papi’s Cuban & Caribbean Cafe, and Subway, a nursing station, service animal relief area, a Minute Suites, newsstands, and more. Concourse A has over 20 eateries and bars, including P.F.

I’ve had a two hour layover at JFK after coming off an international flight, so you should be fine. Customs might get a bit crowded but it goes a lot faster if you have all your documentation ready.

ATL Airport Final Thoughts – I don’t consider the Atlanta Airport to be particularly glamorous, but it’s extremely functional. Not to say it’s ugly, just that the planners have placed more value on function. I like the Atlanta Airport, it connects me with the world.

- It’s also not prone to many delays due to its geographic location.
- Each of the concourses also have a golf cart shuttle that can help people with mobility issues get around.
- The induvial airlines can also arrange a wheel chair transfer that can take you from gate to gate.
The ATL Plane Train is easy to use and will quickly move people between Concourses. It allows for the busiest airport in the world to have extremely safe and short connection times. The ideal layover time for most people on a domestic flight will be 45-60 minutes.
How many international terminals are in Atlanta?
Terminals – Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport has two terminals and seven concourses with a total of 192 gates. The Domestic Terminal is located on the west side of the airport and the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal is on the east side of the airport.

What happens at an audition camp?
Your audition experience will include a world-class education, where our faculty will teach you our system and processes. What is the age requirement to participate in the 2023 Spirit of Atlanta?
DCI limits the age of participants to 21 years of age and younger. A participant who is 22 years before June 1 would be unable to compete. IF you turn 22 AFTER June 1st, you are eligible to participate in the 2023 season.

How long does it take to get from terminal A to D in Atlanta?
ATL Ground Transportation Pre-Security (Landside) – You can travel between the Domestic and International Terminals (without passing through security) by taking the airport shuttle service, If arriving from the MARTA station or from other entry points on the western side of the Domestic Terminal, you need to enter through the W2 door into the South Terminal baggage claim area.
