There was a technical glitch on the SeatGeek website with tickets appearing then disappearing.

I tried purchasing tickets in Row A but got an error message. So, assuming that the tickets in Row A had been purchased just that quick, I purchased tickets in Row B. Minutes later, I noticed that the tickets in Row A had reappeared. I then chatted with a rep from SeatGeek to request an exchange for the tickets in Row A that had reappeared (same price).

The tickets actually disappeared and reappeared again for the representative. In the end, the reps there are powerless and need to “escalate” the issue to the “assigned team.” Many hours later, I called back, and they simply said, “All sales final.” There was no consideration that a technical glitch on their side caused the issue and my dissatisfaction. Is Mega seats legit?

While attending live events is always a great time, trying to find the best deal on tickets can be a real chore since there are so many options out there. That’s why we’re here to give you the rundown on MegaSeats, one of the major players in the ticket resale game.

  • Here’s everything you need to know about MegaSeats.
  • What is MegaSeats? MegaSeats is a secondary ticketing site that offers customers the chance to secure seats on the resale market.
  • What separates MegaSeats from its competitors is they show a full ticket price to customers before the checkout screen, meaning what you see is what you get.

(That, however, doesn’t necessarily mean they offer the cheapest prices.) The company is similar to other verified resellers in that they promise “All tickets sold by MEGAseats.com are guaranteed to be real and get you into the event. We stand by our 100% Guarantee to ensure that our customers know they are receiving their tickets on time and without any hassle.” Is MegaSeats legit? Yes, MegaSeats is a legit merchant in the ticket resale marketplace.

  • MegaSeats’ site guarantees, “Your tickets will be valid for entry, arrive before the event and you will receive a full refund if the event is canceled.” You can reach their customer service department seven days a week from 7 a.m.
  • To 1 a.m via chat or email here,
  • Does MegaSeats have fees? No.
  • This is what makes the site different.

MegaSeats does not charge fees — you are seeing the final price while browsing tickets. With other sites, you won’t see what you’re paying for until after you’ve entered your credit card information. In some cases, fees can be about 27% of the ticket’s original price.

Again, though, this does not necessarily mean MegaSeats offers the cheapest final prices, when compared to other resellers like StubHub, SeatGeek and Vivid Seats, Are there any perks to buying on MegaSeats? Yes. MegaSeats allows customers to participate in their referral program that allows those that you refer to get 10% off their purchase while you earn 10% of your friend’s purchase amount in cash.

More information on the referral program can be found here, Final verdict MegaSeats stands out because they don’t add on fees. It’s a sound and attractive marketing strategy, but it’s still wise to compare prices with other resale sites like StubHub, SeatGeek and Vivid Seats,

How do you know if tickets are legit?

Is Seats.Net Reliable We are fans too and we know how important the incomparable live experience is. We strive to make sure your ticket buying experience is a good one so you can get into the show and have a great time. After the show, you can even let us know how we’re doing and let your voice be heard,

With many high-demand shows throughout the summer, it’s important for us to remind you about counterfeit tickets. We have heard heartbreaking and devastating stories from fans that didn’t make it into a big show and were turned away at the door with counterfeit tickets. We don’t want this to happen to you! We have worked hard on our products to provide you more ticket options, but if you choose to look at buying tickets from other site or on a street corner near the concert venue, please take extra caution before you pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars to a stranger or unfamiliar website.

Please consider the risk that your purchase could potentially involve counterfeit or fraudulent tickets. Since there is NO way to look at a ticket and determine if it is authentic, we recommend you buy from an authorized source. You may be able to spot a fake, but no one can look at a ticket and guarantee it is real just by looking at it.

Buy your tickets from official sources: the box office; the primary ticketer (like Ticketmaster); if it is a Live Nation show then LiveNation.com and the Live Nation mobile app; bands official fan clubs; and official resale marketplaces, such as NFL TicketExchange, NBATickets.com, NHL TicketExchange, and any ticket offered on Ticketmaster’s resale platform. This will ensure that your tickets will be authentic. Tickets may often be available all the way up to the start of the event. If you look for tickets online, only use websites you know you can trust. Some nefarious brokers create websites to look like the box office or artist fan club and the URL can be so similar to the official sites that they make you feel like you’re purchasing directly from the source. When it comes to buying resale tickets off of secondary ticketing websites, rest assured that all Tickets on Ticketmaster’s resale platforms are authentic. If you are looking elsewhere, you must make sure you’re dealing with a reputable business. Here are some things to look for:

• Transaction terms that are stated up front. Know how much you’re being charged up front before you purchase. • A refund policy, but do know that a refund policy doesn’t guarantee you entry. • Identification that they are a reseller, the website should state that the tickets they are selling are being resold, or in other words, they are not part of the initial on-sale to the general public.

Is Ticketmaster trustworthy?

The only way to know your tickets are authentic, is to buy Ticketmaster ‘Verified Tickets’ directly from Ticketmaster or Live Nation, or get them at the venue box office. These tickets will always be 100% authentic.

Can I trust tickets from Vivid Seats?

Ticket Protection Vivid Seats employs a vast anti-fraud team who work to verify your tickets are accurate and transferred safely.

Purchase tickets from official ticketing partners Use caution when purchasing tickets from online vendors.

Consider doing the ticket transaction at a local police station for an added layer of security If you do purchase tickets from a non-official ticketing vendor, many local law enforcement agencies also have designated online transaction areas in their parking lots.

Is Ticketmaster now SeatGeek?

The Nets and Barclays Center, in a surprise move, have severed their long-term relationship with industry leader Ticketmaster, switching to SeatGeek, a 12-year-old digital ticketing platform that has been picking up professional teams and events in recent years.

The change will become effective with the beginning of the Nets 2021-22 season in October. BSE, the parent company of the Nets, Liberty and Barclays, joins a long list of teams who have signed with SeatGeek since November, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cotton Bowl Classic, and Major League Soccer clubs Sporting Kansas City and Houston Dynamo, Boardroom’s Shlomo Sprung reported.

The Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Liverpool FC, and Manchester City are among the company’s long-standing clients. BSE Global will be SeatGeek’s biggest partner. “BSE Global and SeatGeek have similar DNA when it comes to innovating and adapting to the ever-evolving preferences of the live event consumer market,” said BSE Global CEO John Abbamondi.

“We see great potential in leveraging SeatGeek’s latest technological developments and collaborating with them on ways to enhance the fan experience at Barclays Center.” Among SeatGeek’s innovations, according the press release announcing the partnership, include the “Rally” functionality within its mobile app, which launched in April.

Rally gives users unique ways to engage with current and upcoming events, including listening to a pre-concert playlist and planning for transportation, weather, and even food orders at select venues. On Wednesday, season ticket holders received emails on the switch.

Part of the letter, from Michael Wandell, the chief commercial officer of BSE Global, noted in part. In the upcoming months, you will receive an email prompting you to link your current Brooklyn Nets season ticket account to a new or existing SeatGeek account. Our Membership Services team will then assist you with setting up your account manager and familiarizing yourself with SeatGeek’s platform.

We are confident that the new ticketing experience will create an improved experience for next season and beyond. “Barclays Center is one of the premier venues in the world, so this is a monumental deal for us as we work together to modernize the event-going experience,” said SeatGeek co-founder and CEO Jack Groetzinger.

“As fellow New Yorkers, we couldn’t be more proud to bring our leading mobile technology to both our hometown and visiting fans.” In addition to becoming the official ticketing platform of the arena, Nets and Liberty, SeatGeek will also become the naming sponsor of the Barclays Center entrance plaza, which has become an ad hoc town square for the borough.

The plaza will now become SeatGeek Plaza.

Is SeatGeek a third party?

Can’t I just buy tickets on StubHub or SeatGeek? – Third-party companies like StubHub and SeatGeek have thrived in recent years by offering a secondary ticket marketplace for fans to buy and sell tickets to events. It is a system with myriad benefits — the instant download of tickets makes it easy to attend an event at the last minute — but the laws of supply and demand often put what used to be a reasonably priced ticket out of reach for the average fan.

  • In general, the site that has the ticket you want for a lower price is the better one.
  • StubHub is a more established company, and has a strong reputation for fixing problems if people run into trouble at the venue; SeatGeek offers a feature where each ticket is rated on a scale of how good a deal it is.

Always trying to keep up, Ticketmaster and plenty of other major ticket sellers have come up with their own versions of these services, so it’s worth checking all of your options before purchasing. There is even a secondary ticket marketplace for people who prefer luxury suites, with SuiteHop offering a chance to buy, sell or rent space in the exclusive areas of sports arenas in all of the major sports.
